These Affiliate terms apply to everyone who joins the Uthena affiliate program, in addition to our Terms and conditions. The program is run by Uthena LLC, 5830 E 2nd St, 27742, Casper WY 82609, United States. You accept these terms when you sign up on the affiliate registration page. How the program works is explained on the Affiliate program page.
Commission
- You earn a 20% commission for every order referred with your affiliate link.
- An order counts as referred when it is placed within 30 days of a click on your link, on any course, bundle or license, not only the page you linked. If the buyer clicks another affiliate’s link after yours, the latest click decides.
- Commission is calculated on the order amount the buyer actually paid, excluding taxes.
- A refunded or cancelled order cancels its commission. If the commission was already paid, it is deducted from your next payout.
- Orders you place yourself, or that use your own link to buy for yourself, do not earn commission.
Instructors
Every instructor account is also an affiliate account. On other instructors’ courses an instructor earns the commission above. On their own courses an instructor earns a referral bonus instead, as set out in the Instructor terms.
Payouts
- Commissions are paid once a month, net 30. Commissions from orders in a month are paid within the first 5 working days of the second month after it (January orders are paid in the first 5 working days of March).
- Payouts are issued via PayPal, Stripe or store credit, using the payout details in your affiliate account. You do not have to request a payout.
- You are responsible for keeping your payout details complete, valid and up to date. Changes you make before the 1st of the month apply to that month’s payout.
- If your payout details are missing or invalid, or a payment is returned or cannot be completed, we email you and keep the amount as unpaid earnings. We retry on every following payout date.
- Earnings that could not be paid for 12 months after their payout date are forfeited and stay with Uthena, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.
- Your affiliate area shows your unpaid earnings, the total paid to date, and every payout with its date.
- You are responsible for any taxes due on your commissions.
How you may promote Uthena
- Link to any page on Uthena: a course, a bundle, a topic or the home page.
- Describe our courses, licenses and prices truthfully, and make clear to your audience that you earn a commission.
- Do not send spam, use misleading claims or offers we do not make, bid on the Uthena name in search ads, or create sites, ads or social accounts that could be mistaken for Uthena’s own.
- Do not set referral cookies without a real click by a visitor, and do not use coupon sites to claim credit for orders you did not refer.
- Advertising on our brandname is not allowed.
Ending the program
You can leave the program at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close an affiliate account, and withhold commissions earned in breach of these terms, if these terms are broken. We may change the commission rate or these terms; changes apply to orders placed after we publish them on this page.
