About this course

Endpoint management involves policies, accountability and the lifecycle of devices across an organization. This course examines those responsibilities in a System Center configuration context, connecting technical controls with governance.

Centralized and delegated policy enforcement provide the starting point. Security baselines and audit evidence connect the configuration of a device with the way an organization understands and reviews it.

Follow the device through its lifecycle

Provisioning, updates and patch management are discussed alongside monitoring. Retirement and secure disposal extend the material to the end of a device’s use.

Technical debt, bring-your-own-device arrangements and heterogeneous fleets broaden the management context. The course is relevant to learners reviewing endpoint administration as a continuing organizational practice.

Review recorded product versions and service references for the environment your audience uses.
