About this course
Coaching models bring different structures to a conversation about goals, experience and change. This course compares a broad range of approaches so learners can examine what each emphasizes. It is intended for people exploring coaching frameworks and developing their understanding of coaching conversations.
Compare the structure of a session
GROW and T-GROW consider goals, options and action planning. CLEAR introduces contracting, listening, exploration, action and review. Co-Active coaching takes a broader view of being, doing and context, while solution-focused coaching examines strengths and possibilities, including the Miracle Question.
Explore strengths, awareness and purpose
Positive psychology, strengths-based coaching and Appreciative Inquiry focus attention on strengths and what is working. The Wheel of Life, SMART goals and the Accountability Ladder provide other structures for reviewing priorities and action.
The course also discusses NLP approaches such as anchoring and reframing, Gestalt awareness, cognitive behavioral coaching, the Six Human Needs model, transpersonal coaching and the Inner Game. Emotional intelligence, values, identity and Ikigai extend the discussion to self-awareness and purpose.
These are frameworks and techniques presented for educational comparison. Learners should consider their professional scope and the needs of the person they are coaching when deciding how to use a model.
Rebrand coaching framework education with PLR
PLR lets you modify and resell the course under your own brand. A coaching educator could organize it as a survey of models or adapt selected themes for introductory training. Any additional qualification, supervision or assessment within your own program should be described on its own terms.
