About this course
When several tasks matter, choosing what to do first can be harder than doing the work itself. This course examines prioritization for tasks, projects and decisions, with a range of frameworks that offer different ways to compare competing demands.
The material starts with the Eisenhower Matrix and Cost of Delay before moving into ABCDE, MoSCoW and the Pareto Principle. Decision matrices add another approach to making choices explicit. The course also looks at the psychology of prioritization and the cognitive biases that can affect how people judge urgency and value.
Make priorities understandable to other people
Communicating priorities, negotiating and influencing are covered alongside individual task selection. The leadership perspective considers how priorities relate to a team’s strategic goals. Technology-assisted task triage introduces the role of AI and other tools in managing a workload.
Marketing strategy, finance and budgeting, operations and customer service provide business contexts for the discussion. The material is intended for learners reviewing their own workload as well as professionals making choices with a team.
Adapt prioritization training with PLR
With PLR, you can modify, rebrand and resell the course. You could adapt it for a productivity education offer, or organize it around the planning decisions faced by a particular team. Your own task examples can help learners compare the frameworks against the kinds of choices they actually make.
