About this course

Virtualization separates computing resources from the physical systems beneath them. This course examines that abstraction through infrastructure design, operations and cloud integration.

Type 1 and Type 2 hypervisors provide the foundation. Compute pooling and workload consolidation then connect the technology with how an organization uses its infrastructure.

Consider storage, networking and capacity together

Virtual disks, snapshots and storage are discussed alongside virtual networking and segmentation. Capacity planning connects those resources with the workloads they need to support.

Failover and recovery objectives introduce the continuity perspective. Hybrid cloud, virtual machines, containers and automation broaden the material to different deployment and operational approaches.

The course is relevant to learners reviewing virtual infrastructure and the tradeoffs involved in organizing it. Recorded platform examples should be considered in relation to the systems your audience uses.

Use PLR for virtualization education

A PLR license lets you modify, rebrand and resell the training. You could tailor it for an infrastructure-foundations offer or place it alongside cloud and server-administration teaching. Your own workload examples can help connect the resource decisions with familiar operational needs.
