About this course
Web-server architecture connects an application with the infrastructure that delivers it. This course examines Microsoft environments through hosting, request handling, identity and operations, making it relevant to infrastructure and architecture learners.
IIS, Azure Web Apps and hybrid hosting introduce the deployment settings. The course considers the development from static content hosting to distributed applications and the tradeoffs behind different architectural approaches.
Trace the request through the system
Requests, routing, session state and API gateways are discussed alongside application, middleware and database roles. Monoliths, microservices and containers introduce different ways to divide and organize the application.
Identity, single sign-on and federation connect access with the server environment. Application placement, connectivity and server-to-database interactions extend the coverage to dependencies between tiers.
Plan for operation and change
Scaling, clustering, load balancing, high availability and disaster recovery provide the reliability perspective. Observability, alerts and health monitoring connect the design with day-to-day operation.
Cloud integration, legacy interoperability, governance and security broaden the architecture discussion. Automation and infrastructure as code introduce tools such as Azure DevOps, PowerShell DSC and ARM templates within the recorded material.
Rebrand for Microsoft infrastructure education
With PLR, you can modify and resell the course under your own brand. You could tailor it for web-infrastructure learners or organize selected topics within a cloud-architecture offer. Review recorded services and interfaces for the versions your audience uses, and add your own architecture examples where useful.
