About this course

How can a coach discuss progress with a client in a way that is more specific than “things are going well”? This course examines coaching metrics, connecting goals and accountability with the ways clients describe their experience. It is intended for new and established coaches reviewing how they track and communicate progress.

The material covers goal-achievement rates and accountability follow-through, alongside self-reported confidence, emotional resilience, motivation and habit formation. These topics provide different perspectives on a coaching relationship: what a client intended to do, what happened and how they experienced it.

Consider the client’s experience as well as the goal

Client satisfaction, engagement, personal growth, time management and decision-making confidence are also discussed. The course considers perceived return on coaching alongside the practical question of adapting an approach to a client’s needs.

Values, limiting beliefs, relationships and stress provide contexts for examining progress. Treat personal ratings as prompts for discussion within a coaching relationship, with care about what they can reasonably show.

Adapt for coaching practice education

PLR lets you modify, rebrand and resell the course. A coaching educator could adapt it as an introduction to progress conversations, or pair it with their own examples of goal reviews. Keep any additional assessment or professional supervision you provide clearly described within your own offer.
